Herbie. Don't get it. Never did. It's just stupid. Throw in no-talent Lindsay Lohan with her "I'm not anorexic, I'm just going through a phase", bleached blonde self and I could hurl.

Blame the Americans. I don't see the connection. They lose their lake (something almost incomprehensible) and the old biddy blames America. Shit - we have power we never even knew about apparently.

The wedding was fantastic. Everything was beautiful and came off without a glitch (other than the mother of the bride getting wasted at the reception and bailing on a gift opening the next day due to the "flu").

I'm officially thrilled with my new daughter. I don't say in-law because it somehow distances me from her and I don't want that. She is a great girl that I really love to be around.

They headed back north to move into their new apartment. My husband and middle son made the 500 mile trek with trailer and newlywed belongings in tow. We plan to make another trip up this summer to take them a few things that had to be left behind and see their new place all put together.
